Friedensreich Hunderwasser, the Mouldiness Manifesto and beauty of non-linear everthing

I’ve added a new entry to the My Influencers portion of this site, Friedensreich Hundertwasser. I first became aware of, and fell in love with, Hunderwasser and his artistic contributions by way of a coffee table book of photographs of buildings he had designed. Only more recently did I explore his full biography and so learn of his activities as a visual artist and as a philosopher. The other day I, for the first time, read his Mouldiness Manifesto, which I consider to be one of the most beautiful, inspiring and meaningful of all of the manifestos I have read. (I have read hundreds and consider myself something of a manifesto connoisseur.)

Hunderwasser despised straight lines, conformity, sterility and standardization. He was a true visionary and one of the founders of Green Architecture. Here is a link to a lovely, short YT documentary about Hunderwasser. You can read lots more about Hundertwasser and his many creations on hundertwasser.com.
