I first became aware of, and fell in love with, Hunderwasser and his artistic contributions by way of a coffee table book of photographs of buildings he had designed.  Only more recently did I explore his full biography and so learn of his activities as a visual artist and as a philosopher.  The other day I, for the first time, read his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hundertwasser.at\/english\/texts\/philo_verschimmelungsmanifest.php\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hundertwasser.at\/english\/texts\/philo_verschimmelungsmanifest.php\">Mouldiness Manifesto<\/a>, which I consider to be one of the most beautiful, inspiring and meaningful of all of the manifestos I have read.  (I have read hundreds and consider myself something of a <em>manifesto connoisseur<\/em>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunderwasser despised straight lines, conformity, sterility and standardization.  He was a true visionary and one of the founders of Green Architecture.
